I was honored to be a guest at Ateliertag Schorndorf on the 19.04 at EBBA Kaynaks studio. It was a wonderful day and I met so many new lovely people!

You might have noticed the objects displayed under my artworks. These are part of my new series, YOU WIN!
YOU WIN! is a series of paintings and objects inspired by early 2000s media and memories that feel familiar but slightly out of reach.
The work draws from video game logic: levels, progression, direction. But instead of winning, the viewer is confronted with something fixed. A moment that can be recognized, but not re-entered.
YOU WIN! is about the tension between remembering and being able to access the past.
Each work includes a physical object that appears to belong inside the painting.
The objects act as physical fragments of memories, removed from function and held in place in the present.
